Calling all creative Pumpkin Carvers! We want your Jack-o-Lanterns for our Pumpkin Walk on October 28th!
Join in on a fun Jack-o-Lantern contest and win prizes to Riverside Pizza!
who: Any person or family who wants to show off their Jack-o-Lantern creations.
what: Create your Jack-o-Lantern, drop it off behind the Slusser Center at the green gate that heads to fields 3 & 4, and we will line the Story Walk trail with them. The public can vote on their favorite pumpkins and the top 2 votes (adult and kids category) will win prizes to Riverside Pizza.
where and when: Drop off your carved pumpkin at the green gate behind the Slusser Center on Oct. 28th from 2-4 PM.
why: Because you love showing off your amazing pumpkin carving skills and also winning gift certificates from Riverside Pizza!
Rules for the Pumpkin Carvers:
1. Create your Jack-o-Lantern
2. Bring it to the Slusser Center on Oct. 28 from 2-4 pm with a battery operated tea light and enter the contest. There is no fee to enter.
3. Tell everyone you know to come look at and judge the Jack-o-Lanterns later that night from 5:44 pm- 7 pm.
4. Check the Hopkinton Rec Dept. Facebook site the next day for the results to be posted. Winners can pick up their prize from the Rec Dept. in the Slusser Center on Monday from 9 AM - 4 PM.
*The Recreation Committee will take your creation to Veteran's Park after the contest and place it on the wall if any Jack-o-Lanterns are left after 2 pm on Sunday, Oct. 29th.
