Kayak and Canoe Rentals are Available at Kimball Cabins! Come down to the Cabins and rent a kayak or canoe for a few hours and enjoy the beautiful lake! Staff will be on site at the main cabin to help you. Where are we located:The main cabin is the cabin located closest to the boat ramp at 47 Kimball Lake Rd. in Hopkinton. Who can rent a kayak/canoe: Any Hopkinton Resident age 12 or older can operate a kayak, 16 or older can operate a canoe, and all minors need to be registered with an adult. Those under the age of 12 can be accompanied by an adult in a 2 person canoe.  All persons must wear a life vest supplied by the Town of Hopkinton and sign the required waivers. Those under 18 years of age need a parent's signature.What is available to rent:We have 1 person kayaks and 2 person canoes that can be rented.  There is a weight capacity on each vessel.When can you rent a kayak/canoe:Starting on June 29-August 9 (we've extended dates!), we will be open for rentals on Monday & Tuesday 2 pm- 7 pmWednesday,Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday 8 am- 2 pm Last rental is an hour before close.We will be closed on the holidays.How long can a kayak/canoe be rented:Rentals are first come, first served.  However, in-person reservations can be made for that day only.  Each kayak/canoe can be rented by the hour with a maximum of 3 hours. All kayaks and canoes must be returned back to shore at closing time.  Late returns will be charged a fee.How much does it cost to rent:The cost is $5 per person per hour. Children under 6 are free. We accept cash and checks.*staff will be sanitizing the equipment after each use.
