Kids ages 8-12 are invited to join the Hopkinton Junior Explorers, and explore the town's many trails with two experienced Hopkinton residents: outdoor educator and naturalist Linden Rayton and ecologist Pete Maciaszek. Kids will need to be dropped off and picked up at each location for each outing. Our spring session will focus on activities like finding vernal pools and salamander eggs; discovering wildflowers; learning about some of New Hampshire's wild mammals; stream and pond explorations; our usual great forest games; and generally having a good time outside.
We will be taking covid safety very seriously. We will social distance and expect all participants to wear masks unless we are taking a mask break. Appropriate clothing is a must.
