Ice Skating is available when conditions permit at Kimball Lake Cabins. All skating is at the user's risk, and ice is only monitored and cleared off by the Town for the "Winter Fun" events at the cabins.
Shovels are on site if you are inclined to help remove snow. Please do not leave piles of snow on the skating surface as they will refreeze there for the season.
Ice fishing at the Lake is welcome and also at your own risk. We ask that you please choose an area outside of the skating area.
Please remove the hockey nets at the end of each evening. The pond surface is continually thawing and refreezing on the surface and the nets will be stuck in place for the season if not removed each night. Also, if you walk on the ice when it is slushy, it will refreeze with your footprints and make the surface unsuitable for skating.
Have fun and please remember your safety gear! Helmets are always a good idea!
